What’s in a ‘like’?
After losing at home to Watford in midweek, it was a crappy Saturday for Arsenal as their title hopes went up in flames at Stamford Bridge.
The Gunners looked second best in a 3-1 defeat at Chelsea, who looked every part the champions elect in the 90 minutes.
Many Arsenal fans saw their blood boil during the Chelsea game, and that sparked the latest round of Wenger Out meltdowns.
However one Arsenal star, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, lent his support to the anti-Arsene movement.
How? He liked a tweet on social media calling for Wenger to leave the club.
Cue the apology
Long after lots of screenshots were taken of the Ox’s social media page, the Gunners midfielder edited his ‘likes’.
That clearly wasn’t enough to put out the fire, as the England international later posted an apology on social media for his error.
He said: ‘I didn’t mean to like that post earlier obviously… Didn’t even realise I had!’
But did his followers believe him?
I didn't mean to like that post earlier obviously… Didn't even realise I had!
