Nigerian afrobeat star, Wizkid , who has been in the news lately doesn’t look like he will stop hogging all the headlines anytime soon..
The “ojuelegba” crooner, who is set to drop his new studio album Sound From The Other Side, has announced that he will be hosting a special show in London and all the proceeds will be donated to the victims of the Grenfell Tower fire.
In case you missed it, over 80 people were killed and many more wounded after fire razed the 24 storey Grenfell Tower in West London.
The disaster left many people homeless, with majority of the occupants losing all their properties in the fire.
Following the major tragedy, London authorities have been working to relocate the survivors, even though there are fears that the government is using the tragedy as an excuse to check the residency status of survivors.
Now, Wizkid has followed the foot steps of celebrities as he announced that he would be donating proceeds of his concert to the survivors..
